There’s a stillness that happens; a slowing of things. Above, cornflower blue surrounds liquid gold which eventually meets the severe plane of the bare horizon below. The dying light leaves a final, warm kiss of good-bye as it fades. Day is gone. The world comes alive with the sound of the night.
